Matthew R. Filpi leads the Legal and Compliance groups at PPDocs. Matt brings 25 years of experience in the legal profession, with almost 20 years dedicated exclusively to mortgage lending law and compliance. Matt dedicates his practice to advising clients on state and federal statutes and regulations governing residential mortgage lending and documentation. He is a frequent speaker on regulatory changes affecting the residential mortgage industry. Matt is licensed to practice law in Texas, North Carolina, and the District of Columbia. He is a graduate of Willamette University in Salem, Oregon, and the SMU Dedman School of Law in Dallas, Texas.
