Michael H. Patterson, P.C. was a founding partner of the law firm of Peirson Patterson, L.L.P in 1985. He is President and Chairman of the Board of PPDocs, Inc. For more than 40 years, Mike’s practice has focused on residential mortgage loan documentation and the laws and regulations relating thereto, and he has represented hundreds of banks, credit unions, and non-bank lenders throughout the United States. Mike was an original drafter of the Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac Texas home equity uniform instruments and has drafted hundreds of other forms that are commonly used in residential mortgage document packages today. Mike also previously maintained a fee attorney relationship with multiple title companies for many years, giving him in-depth knowledge of the title insurance industry in Texas. He has been a frequent speaker at the Texas State Bar Advanced Real Estate Law and Advanced Real Estate Drafting courses.
